The Rotary Shelterbox scheme administered by The Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard is Rotary's first response scheme to disasters anywhere in the world. A shelterbox cost £490 and it provides:
- A dry shelter
- A warm bed
- light and heat
- clean water
- cooking aids
- tools
And all this for ten people in a single robust box. |
